Britax Car Seats and Strollers: A 70-Year History of Safety and Comfort

In my recent Britax giveaway I mentioned that, although I like to save money on purchases for my kids, it is much more important to me to spend every penny to ensure their complete safety whenever I can. And when I said that I have been a fan of Britax and all of their high quality, easy-to-use and extremely comfortable products since before Big Sister E was even born... I meant it.

By combining all of the great items that they had already been known for with all of the new releases and upgrades that came out last year, 2011 is already looking to be a great year to purchase a Britax car seat or stroller. Why? Let's see...

The whole point of a car seat is to keep your child as safe as possible in the event that there is an accident or crash and Britax takes that extremely seriously, no matter if you are in the market for an infant car seat all the way up to a belt-positioning booster seat.

The 360 Degree Protection that Britax includes minimizes injury from any direction, while their 5-point harness and proper fit to your vehicle and child ensure that everyone stays safe during your drive. Not only that, as your child's car seat is something that is used nearly every day, Britax makes sure that they are easy to install and operate, no matter what.

Who wants to fuss with twisted straps or a difficult LATCH system? Two things that you'll never think about here. Every Britax car seat that we've owned has installed easily, is cleanable and washable, fits the variety of vehicles that we have owned and is comfortable for our daughters (proven by no complaints on short or long drives and quite a few instances of falling asleep in the car).

Combine all that with knowing that my children are receiving the maximum safety possible and it gives me peace of mind every time I snap them in. I can't control what might happen on the road, but I can affect the outcome if something unfortunate does occur.

When it comes to strollers, I didn't feel as though Britax was receiving nearly as much attention for them as they did for their car seats... until now. With the release of the B-NIMBLE, B-SCENE and B-READY this past year, they have now set themselves apart from the rest in this category as well - meaning there is no need to look elsewhere! If I could go back to before Big Sister E was born, my search for the best on-the-go baby products would start and end with Britax.

Now I just need one in my size so that as my kids get older I can have a chance for a ride once in a while!
